On April 23rd, Pct 1. Commissioner David Fuentes and the Hidalgo County Drainage District No. 1 held a groundbreaking ceremony in Edcouch to celebrate the beginning of the Main Floodwater Channel Expansion Project. This project has an estimated cost of $20 million and it will be completed in October of 2024.
