Flooding at Edinburg North High School has been a long-standing issue. HCDD No. 1 is addressing the problem with a new detention pond designed to reduce flooding on campus and in nearby neighborhoods. The $3 million project will also include a new field for student use and is expected to be completed by March 2026.
